Isn’t it so great when you go on vacation or spend all summer working on your tan? Then fall rolls around and you’ve been so excited to start wearing your boots and scarves that your golden glow has completely vanished?!! Where did it go?! Well, I’ve found some amazing products that give you a nice golden glow without looking forced or like you spent too much time in a tanning booth or at a spray tanner. Personally, I think I look better with a little golden glow and you don’t need to use all of these together… they’re all very complimentary and last as long as you’d like them to! 1) Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster
Ok you guys, I’m about to give away my ultimate favorite secret to a golden healthy glow* (even for the winter!) This is a concentrate that you literally only need a couple drops and mix with your moisturizer before applying all over your face. The tan/bronzed glow will slowly appear throughout the day and fades naturally when you wash your face. Love this so much! It’s quick, the tiny bottle lasts FOREVER (I think I’ve had mine for 3 years!) and I’ve never had any staining issues. I can’t tell you how MUCH I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff so much and seriously, will buy them out if they ever discontinue. haha 🙂
2) Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Powder Bronzer
If you want a matte powder bronzer* that you can control the intensity of your glow, this is a great product. A light dusting on my cheekbones, hairline and jawline go a long way to make me look and feel ALIVE versus a sleep deprived exhausted pale working mom. I’ve been wearing just a little bit everyday even after my summer tan has faded, and I get amazing compliments on “my tan!” 🙂
3) St. Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Sculpt and Glow Lotion
I’ve been using this gradual tanning lotion* to bring my pale white legs back from the dead for my vacation and so far, so good! No staining, great smell and we shall see about the “sculpting” part works out, but hey, I’ll take what I can get!
4) Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit
Love love love my Anastasia Brow Wiz, so when I saw they came out with a glow palette, I figured, this would be a winner, and it is! I love the natural shimmer in 4 different shades that provide highlighting, bronzing and a nice natural glow without looking too “glittery.” Wish that that the palette would come with a brush or way to apply, but i made do with my 20 different applicator brushes! I also love the fact that this powder glow kit* can be used year-round. I grabbed it in October, just as my tan was almost all faded and it brings out some nice highlighting and rosiness to my cheeks too!
